National Institute for Mental Health in England
The National Institute for Mental Health in England programme aim’s to improve the quality of life of people of all ages who experience mental distress.
We promote and supporting the innovation of services in the Eastern region by:
- supporting the implementation of national policies and programmes, and
- developing the capacity and capability in the field in order to achieve improvements in delivery.
To achieve this, we run various programmes:
- Equalities
- Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT)
- Involvement (Experts by Experience)
- Mental Health Emploment
- Mental Health Legislation
- Specialist Mental Health Services (includes Acute Care, Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment, Revised Care Programme Approach implementation, Early Intervention, Dual Diagnosis and Personality Disorder)
- Wellbeing in the East (Eastern Region Big Lottery Fund Bid Portfolio)
- Workforce
