Workforce
The purpose of our workforce programme is to develop and sustain a capable and flexible workforce across health and social care in the Eastern region through supporting the implementation of New Ways of Working for Everyone.
Key activities:
- Supporting trust colleagues trained by CSIP Eastern in the Creating Capable Teams Approach (CCTA) (which was developed to support the integration of New Ways of Working)
- A review of the implementation of Support Time and Recovery Workers (STR) in the region
- Running New Ways of Working Learning Sets for senior directors in the 7 mental health trusts in our region – allowing discussion of strategic and operational issues, sharing best practice, hearing about new development, publications and gaining confidence in implementing new policy.

- The Facilitator's Handbook, consisting of workshop programmes, checklists, session plans, handouts and facilitators notes to support delivery of the CCTA
- The Participant's Handbook, consisting of workshop programmes and handouts to ensure participants are fully informed throughout the process
